Seared Bistro Albuquerque

Unfortunately this meal was a miss for us. We picked Seated because of the reviews that most of the menu was gluten free and the menu being labeled online. Upon arrival there was a specialty menu for the balloon fiesta. It wasn't labeled so I had to have someone explain what I could eat and the options were very limited. Many options that could easily be made gluten free (risotto, creamed corn and sauces) were not. I opted for The farm (duck, lamb and rattlesnake sausage) with the roasted potatoes (because the corn was not gf). The rattlesnake sausage and the duck were over cooked and incredibly drum. The lamb was a tad under for me. The roasted potatoes were bland and under-seasoned. When we got the check I received an upcharge for swapping the side! I would have loved the creamed corn had it not been for my food allergy. The server did take it off, but still this was not a cheap meal and it completely missed the mark.

We had a really nice experience having dinner at Seared. Our server was very attentive and explained everything. They also made dessert recommendations and it was delicious. Food was good and very unique. Lots of different protein options and things prepared in interesting ways. I also appreciated that the menu is labeled gluten-free and the majority of the items are or can be made gluten-free. Overall a great experience.
