Season to Taste

We consider ourselves professional eaters, and have had a wonderful dining experience in the greater Boston area, but Season to Taste took them all. We opted for the chefs menu counter to get a sampling of the menu and it did not disappoint. Not only was every dish balanced and exciting, they use sustainable and local products AND have an almost entirely gluten free menu and kitchen, including the fryer. The only items that contained gluten were the in house made noodles (in a dedicated area), and locally purchased bread products. Every item that is breaded, fried, or tempura’d uses alternative sources, including chowders, gnocchi, and desserts. Even their desert shortbread crumble is gluten free! As someone with a food sensitivity, this is an incredible find. No one NOT gluten sensitive would know that the fried soft shell crab was in corn flour. Highly recommend. Will go back.

This restaurant surprised me with so many gluten free options and it’s equally delicious food. We ordered the kale salad, carrots and the duet beef plus the sea captain entree. All were equally amazing and worthy of a return trip when next in the area. A happy Friday night surprise!
