Seemingly Overzealous Ice Cream

This place is AMAZING!!! You have no idea how nice it is for someone with gluten and dairy issues to be able to walk into a place and be able to order absolutely anything! Even their waffle cone is gluten free and it’s incredible! This is my go to place for ice cream and there isn’t even a close second. Let’s not bring up Je**i’s overpriced slop 🤣. And now that they are close to being open in Dilworth, I know exactly where I’ll be!

For so long, I dreamed of a place where I could indulge in one of my favorite ice creams. But alas, my lactose and gluten intolerance made that quite the challenge. So you can imagine my delight when Seemingly Overzealous stepped onto the scene. Eat bite is pure bliss, the branding is on point and the staff brings a little extra joy to my day whenever I visit. It’s obvious Jess and Garrett are passionate about what they do, and I’m forever grateful they brought SO to the Charlotte community. Get yourself there ASAP, you won’t regret it!

After seeing this place pop up on IG and watching one of the ice creams be made, I was so excited to give it a try! I mean come on, it’s rare (pretty sure non existent) to find this array of gluten/dairy free options that looked and sounded so good. So call me crazy but at 1pm on a Saturday I saw their IG reel of a new flavor and within minutes I was in my car to drive the HOUR AND A HALF it took to get there. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! It was made even better when I was able to get a gluten free waffle cone. I literally had no other plans in Charlotte than to get ice cream and drive an hour and a half home. Oh and the floors of the location I went to were sparkly… this place seriously goes all out on the vibe, the product and even the staff was dope. I’ve had so many disappointing df/gf ice creams but this was most certainly not one of them. 15/10 on the experience :)
