Serafina Upper West 77th (UWS)

Ffamtastic Italian meal on the upper West Side! Thank you, Fernando, for making our lunch special and, Serafina for the great gluten free pasta!

Beware! If you have an allergy this may not be the best place to eat. I went there with family and friends for lunch today and asked for gluten free pasta, the waiter told me there is only one type of pasta, the fusilli pasta. I went ahead placed the order, before he left the table after taking everyone's order, I reminded him that my daughter and I are getting the gluten free pasta. The pasta then showed up with noodles which were not gluten free. The waiter's response to the mishap was that I never said she has an allergy. Then he went on to explain that they have different pots for people with allergies and people that eat gluten free for "fun". I asked if someone asked for nut free or vegetarian would the food come to the table mixed... there was no sensible response as he yelled back at me. It is clear that their concern was not to serve a safe meal. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
