Sesame Sandwiches

Sooo good! We love this neighborhood spot. I wish they used tamari rather than soy sauce to make some more things gluten free but they were able to accommodate me well with a yummy pork bowl with a spicy mayo.

This place is great! I had the Saigonese banh mi, which was a delicious execution on the exact sandwich you think of when you hear “banh mi.” The veggie egg rolls were hot, fresh, and perfectly fried. Prices are reasonable, and ingredients tasted high quality. I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. I personally appreciate that there’s a bit of variety (including some classic American sandwiches), and I can’t wait to stop in and try one of the breakfast sandwiches. I’d love to see a couple gluten free menu options for my wife (definitely summer rolls, maybe the ability to put the sandwich toppings on lettuce and rice noodles?). Admittedly I didn’t ask about gluten in store as I was on my own today. Front of house is pretty small, but the food is portable, so this is a great grab-and-go type of place. I hope when the weather warms up we might be able to sit on some sidewalk tables! All in all, a very welcome addition to the neighborhood.
