Seven Virtues Coffee Roasters at the Zipper

We went for coffee at Seven Virtues the other day. The coffee was delicious. Being GF and having a celiac in the family I was delighted to find out that all their house made treats were GF. The berry bar was amazing! Better than anything I’ve gotten at GEM. They do offer regular and GF bagels. The cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful about cross contamination with gluten. I think they should get a second toaster for GF bagels. I’m excited to bring along my GF/celiac family members soon.

We frequently visit Portland and patron local coffee shops. Up until today we have never had a bad experience in Portland and the coffee is always amazing. We oreded cortados, Americanos, and food. The Cortado's and the gluten free options were delicious. The Americano's were weak. However, food and coffee is not what gives this place a rating of one star. There were two people working one had fantastic energy and a bright aura and the other had a very dark angry presence about him. We didn't feel welcome and couldn't leave fast enough. Buying coffee should be a happy experience. Selling coffee is the easiest way to put a smile on a person's face. We did not leave with smiles. You can do better.
