If I could give The Shack in O’Fallon 10 stars, I would—and then I’d try to sneak in an 11th just because they deserve it! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a super friendly and smiling hostess who seated our party right away. Major kudos for the warm welcome! One of our guests has a gluten allergy, and not only did they not make a big deal of it, they came through with a full gluten-friendly menu that had more variety than most regular menus I’ve seen. Seriously impressive. Our server, Caitlin, was a rockstar—smiling, prompt, and on top of everything. She took our drink order immediately and made sure our glasses were never empty. Our food came out hot, fresh, and FAST. And the best part? The prices are almost too good to be true. Delicious food, big portions, amazing service, and wallet-friendly? Yes please! Hands down, The Shack is the best breakfast spot around. Friendly vibes, fast service, and food that makes your soul happy. We’ll definitely be back—probably this weekend.

Terrible service. Can’t place an order on the phone and online doesn’t work. Called in hopes to place an order. Person answered with a AWFUL attitude and didn’t even start the convo with hello but a WE DONT DO RESERVATIONS. which I was NOT calling about. Unfortunately I am gluten free but will be going ANYWHERE else. WE. A. SHAME.
