Shanao cafe

I had an excellent experience at Shanao Café. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect to enjoy a quiet breakfast. I tried a delicious, light and perfectly flaky croissant. I also ordered gluten-free bread, something I really appreciate, and it was soft and well prepared, not like other gluten-free breads that tend to be dry. The scrambled eggs were just right, creamy and well seasoned, accompanied by fresh avocado and high-quality Serrano ham that gave the dish the perfect touch. The service was fast and friendly, and you can see the care taken in the ingredients and presentation of each dish. Without a doubt a place I will return to to continue exploring their menu.

Perfect place for breakfast, the coffee is quite good and they have many vegan and gluten-free options.

Today I decided to go to Shanao for breakfast, excited by the variety it promised. However, my experience was disappointing. Starting with the coffee where I ordered a triple coffee and they brought me a double (this is something that can happen) however the sandwich I ordered (turkey, cured cheese with tomato, scrambled egg, lamb's lettuce and arugula) was COMPLETELY empty inside. What left me surprised and frustrated is: how can I pay for something if you're not giving me what I ask for? I don't understand how an establishment can offer a breakfast at this price (coffee with soy + sandwich with gluten-free bread €8) and not comply with the basics. The waitress was kind enough to invite me to coffee but it is not enough considering that she invited me reluctantly. I would not recommend this place and definitely will not return.
