Shawn O'Donnell's American Grill and Irish Pub

Awesome Irish pub with several delicious GLUTEN FREE options! This was a random stop to grab a quick bite while driving up to Vancouver, BC. We were just looking for a place that looked decent, and was somewhere between fast food and a sit down place that would hold us up for over an hour. WHAT WE FOUND WAS AN ABSOLUTE TREASURE! I had the Shepherds Pie (gf) and my wife had the Chicken Pot Pie (NOT gf). The Shepherds Pie was anything but humble. Even the, lunch portions were generous, the filling was meaty, flavorful, and full of rich gravy, while the potato topping was smooth and creamy with a lightly crisped outer shell. My wife said the chicken pot pie was also delicious.

Their Shephard's pie is delicious and gluten-free. They have other great menu items as well, but I just keep going back to the Shephard's pie. The atmosphere is nice. The seating is frequently right away, even on a Friday night. The parking can be problematic but only occasionally.
