Shieldaig Lodge

I stayed mid November 2022 - Shieldaig Lodge is a magnificent and serene escape, offering breathtaking views and tranquil surroundings. The drive to the lodge is picturesque and the grounds are perfect for a leisurely walk. The dinner was outstanding and the chef's exceptional skills, including accommodating dietary restrictions (for a vegeterian/gluten free person in are party - they actaully made fresh gluten free delicious bread!), made for an unforgettable dining experience. The service was excellent, with sweet and accommodating staff. The afternoon tea was also amazing, adding to the luxurious experience. We highly recommend Shieldaig Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Scotland.

MUST STAY! This is one of the BEST places I have EVER stayed in my LIFE! Everything about this place is charming and beautiful! The room was perfect and cozy, the bathroom has heated floors which I LOVED!!! The food! OMG! They honestly have eh BEST chief!!! I am gluten free and vegetarian which is not simple and they were more than happy to accommodate this. (I normally just suffer with stomach pains and eat the gluten) But let me tell you, everything I ate was a dream! I couldn't believe what I was eating was gluten free! The BEST BREAD I have ever had, the BEST food as well! I honestly wish I could bring them home with me to cook! I can not express how thankful I am for my time at the lodge! It was not all about the food though. The staff was also so sweet and kind to us. They made sure we had everything we needed or asked for! We plan to visit again and again! I would live here if I could!
