Ship Inn, Tresaith

AVOID. Hayley is apparently in charge and is appalling. She was beyond rude from our arrival upon which she informed us there was no roasts left at our 2:30pm reservation. I asked her if a few menu options were gluten free and she seemed visibly annoyed by this. She then lifted a bowl of hot soup over the pram containing my 8 week old baby at which point my partner asked her to not pass the hot food over the baby, she became visibly annoyed. As she walked away from the table she pulled a negative, disgusted face at us and shook her head. When I asked her why she felt she needed to do so she told us we were not welcome in ‘her’ pub anymore and to leave. At this point I lost my temper as she kept coming back to the table to have a go at us, we then proceeded to leave the pub. The rudeness and vitriol from Hayley from our arrival was unnecessary and unprovoked, but her endangering any child let alone a newborn baby is beyond outrageous.

I had GF steak and chips. Steak was very well cooked, well presented. Usual gluten free options for a Brains pub. Dogs allowed outside. As with most small beach villages parking can be a bit hit and miss, although if you're lucky you might get a space outside.
