Shopey's Pizza Windsor

I'm so grateful to have a pizza place that makes a truly yummy gluten free pizza! Everything I've tried here has been tasty and well made. The employees have been kind & helpful, and you can tell that they care about the quality of both the food & the customer's experience. I'm so happy they opened in Windsor! Also, if you order the Carmel apple dessert pizza, do yourself a favor & get extra caramel sauce...totally worth the extra calories!

Gluten Free crust, thumbs down. We want to explore more restaurants in Windsor so we tried Shopey’s and were disappointed. The gluten free crust was the standard cardboard like chalky crust. Fortunately there is one pizza store in Windsor that has a very decent gluten free crust and we will continue to use them. My wife was disappointed with her pizza as well. It was black on the bottom but, ironically the crust was not crisp. My wife likes a crisp crust. It did not quite have a burnt taste but it was close. UPDATE I appreciate the response to my review. I have to take issue that the gluten free crust you researched and settled on as the best available. If you check your competitors in the Windsor area you will find a much better crust. I believe it comes from Loveland but am not sure.
