Shorebreak Lodge

We had dinner at Shorebreak Lodge. I actually used a different GF app to find out more about it. Upon entering and asking about a GF menu I was told items that were GF were listed and that our server would let me know what ones that were not they could modify. Our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She even told me there was a dedicated fryer. I got the deviled eggs and scallops with acorn squash. After eating she let me know that they also had a chocolate flourless tort for desert. While I had not planned on desert I got it to share. It did not disappoint.

Had the most wonderful dinner. I had the Halibut special served with summer corn salad and fingerling potatoes and my husband had the day boat scallops. I have a gluten intolerance and they were very accommodating. Let’s not forget the flourless chocolate caramel tart for dessert. The food, service and ambiance were impeccable. The owners came over and introduced themselves and were lovely. Will definitely return next time we visit Rehoboth Beach.
