Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar

Simply put, Shucks is the best. Doesn’t matter the time, doesn’t matter the location, these guys have made dining out an art form. Another incredible meal tonight. Ordered an app, a salad, a kids meal and two entrees all came out ridiculously fast, in proper order and waters were always topped. Every element of the meal in terms of flavor, temperature and preparation(most food was ordered gluten free.) was spot on. Just like the Pacific location, every employee was running food. Probably 4 different staff ran a plate to our table. To hit up a really busy restaurant at 6 PM and be out of there in around 45 minutes means they are doing something right. We make the six hour drive to Omaha at least once a year and honestly it’s become an exercise in how we can plan to do something around town, just so we can go to Shucks…

As a celiac disease sufferer I deal with restaurant issues; fear of cross contamination, few choices, loss of traditional food items... Shuck's is wonderful! Virtually every item available gluten free... So many choices and with a dedicated fryer! Calamari was so yummy and I've been back three times now for the risotto. Two locations, both delicious. Pacific location is attached to their Absolute Fresh seafood store if you need fresh seafood for home.

This place was awesome for a Celiac like me! Peter was outstanding!!! We will be back!
