We had a three night stay at The White Horse and were well looked after. We stayed in an upstairs room next to the Inn, overlooking the garden, it was very restful. Due to covid, some of the soft furnishings had to be removed, but the room was spacious and great care was taken over changing towels and crockery each day and ensuring our tea/coffee was replaced.
We were booked half board and the food was superb. Our cooked breakfasts were delicious, I tried the vegetarian one a couple of times which was also tasty. All served with a smile too.
Dinner was a real treat. Plenty of choice and beautifully presented. The steak I had was the nicest I have had in a long time and the best bit for us was the choice my husband had being gluten free.
The care the staff took to ensure covid safety was excellent without us losing the enjoyment of a really great meal.
I can definitely recommend The White Horse, if we are back in the area we will, without a doubt, stay here again
