I recently went here for dinner with a group of friends. I was thrilled to find that they have a good selection of gluten-free pasta dishes, and the one I selected was rather good. (As an Italian, I'm quite picky.) The atmosphere is fancy in a pretentious-yet-towny kind of way--which isn't really my thing. The place was clean, the lighting was nice, the decor was tasteful, but they had butcher paper over the tablecloth. The prices are high but not exorbitant for a "fancy" Italian restaurant in Chico. Some of the staff were somewhat impatient with the disabled persons I was with, but others were understanding. One diner needed to ask a lot of questions to understand the menu. One person he asked was kind and patient, while another made it perfectly clear that answering more questions was not how they intended to spend their shift. Still, it worked out in the end, and we had a nice, if somewhat odd visit.
