It's an iconic place for 'Last of the Summer Wine' watchers. It's a small cafe with 5/6 tables inside and a couple out. They were happy to adjust food for my son and actually have a great menu for gluten free people and lunches with home made cakes and plenty of sandwiches. However, if you are looking for a full English - they don't do this. Have a look at nora battys house round the corner, they have changed her neighbours house into a cafe - the 'Wrinkly stocking Cafe' who do do a full English. In Sid's Cafe, they do have a number of memorabilia items you can buy at not bad prices and do a great sausage and bacon roll. Hint - the postcode if you're looking via Google maps, takes you to the back of the cafe and parking in Holmfirth itself is at a premium, hard to find a car park close so I'd suggest getting in early.
