We love Sidecar so much that it has become our go-to brunch spot for our family's birthday. The first time we went, we all had the Sidecar brunch classic, which was amazing. The rugbød is so good, my son wrote down all the ingredients so he could try to copy it at home. I love the salmon, and my husband loves the dessert.
Our second time, we each had a different Sidecar brunch: classic, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan. The all you can eat cold platter is always the same, but the hot foods that come out separately all vary. My kids loved the chia seed grød, my husband ordered two servings of the waffles with cream, and I'm partial to the beef sausages.
The place is fabulously busy so I'd recommend reserving a table. However, we always eat outside because we bring our dog so we've never had problems, even for a Sunday brunch. As for eating outside, without any heating lamps (they do have blankets) it's extremely cold so the next couple of birthdays will have to be inside.
