Last time I was here the food was rich, flavoursome and the staff were Italian and so helpful.
I returned tonight, and was highly disappointed. My glass of wine was slammed down on the table and had spilt.
The staff were rushed and wanted to obviously clock off for the night.
My gluten free pasta was spirals, not penne like they use to do.
The sauce was watery- but still had fresh ingredients.
I had to get up and walk to the front for service as my food went cold.
I had to ASK for cracked pepper and real Parmesan. To which the waitress bought out fake dried shaker cheese TWICE… then told me I would have to pay for shaved as it’s hard to make…
I said.. i would be happy to pay, even though it’s expected at an Italian restaurant.
The waitress slammed the pepper shaker on the table and walked away.
Never to be seen again.
This place has gone downhill since Covid and besides the Italian doorman, service is horrible.
