Silver

This restaurant had been on my list for a while, and I’m glad I finally visited with friends. It’s always packed when I walk by, and now I see why. The hostess and staff, including Partner, who was kind, funny, and brought our wine, made us feel welcome. Our server, Crystal, provided excellent service with helpful recommendations that suited my picky eating. The menu included a few great options for my gluten-free and vegan friends, and the food met all our expectations. The desserts, especially the crème brûlée and pistachio brownie, were outstanding. I look forward to returning to try more seasonal offerings. Thank you, Silver, for a wonderful dining experience!

I came to Bethesda for the first time this weekend to host my sister’s bachelorette party. We were only in Bethesda for the weekend, but Silver – in particular our waiter Andy —far surpassed my expectations and any other dining experiences while we were on town. Not only was he able to accommodate my dietary needs without making me feel like bother (gluten-free, soy-free, vegan requests usually end up a confused/frustrated waiter or an incorrect order), but he also went out of his way to surprise my sister with a congratulatory dish at the end of the meal. The way in which Andy was able to keep up with the light-hearted banter of our silly group while efficiently while waiting on our table, and I presume many other tables simultaneously, really made our day. My sister felt so appreciated, we got to enjoy delicious food, and even my “special” GF/SF/vegan meal came out exceptional! Thank you to Andy for making this meal so memorable! I don’t know how pay works at this restaurant, but this waiter deserves a raise and all the tips in the world!:) We will be back next time we are in town, and will continue to highly recommend Silver to anyone we know passing through to Bethesda!
