Silver Diner

Dalton was the absolute best. He is extremely attentive and friendly but also professional, quick, and gives great service with a smile. He is very knowledgeable about the menu, with great recommendations for substitutions for people with a gluten allergy. I would highly recommend silver diner to all of my friends because the food is served hot, fast and fresh, but Dalton is what made my experience so great and I will be returning just for him!

My family and I dined here a week ago. The server we had overcharged some of our meals and drinks. My husband ordered a guava drink, and she asked if we wanted to spike it up. Since he wasn't aware we could do that, he said yes, and she charged him the tequila price instead of the add-on. However, she did add the Baileys to the mocha drink correctly. I asked for the quinoa pancakes and inquired if they came with a type of meat. She suggested I get the egg, potatoes, and steak, then order a side of quinoa pancakes. Since I couldn't eat the potatoes, I told her not to add them, but she didn't. My youngest daughter wanted chocolate chip pancakes, but they brought her regular pancakes instead and asked if we wanted a side of chocolate chips. We didn't have time to remake the order, so they just brought the chocolate chips. My oldest daughter ordered cheddar cheese fries with bacon, but the bacon wasn't included. We didn't receive our receipt until after we paid, and the server took my card without giving me the receipt and swiped it. I gave her a cash tip, and she only showed me the screen to sign. Our daughter had to be at work at 3 pm, and we paid at 2:45 pm, so I didn't have a chance to review the receipt until we left. I called the manager the next day and spoke with Jennifer. Jennifer informed me that some of the charges weren't correct, such as the quinoa pancakes being charged as a regular meal instead of a side. I'm very happy I spoke with Jennifer, as she listened to my complaint and offered us two free entrees or a refund. We opted for the two entrees. She really helped us with the situation and let me know she would talk to our server about it. Thank you, Jennifer, for addressing this situation. :) In addition, I eat here pretty often on a Saturday. This is our go to place cause it is a very healthy place. The food has been amazing! They also have a lot of gluten free options. As I have an allergy to that. So we really do love this place🙂
