Silver Diner

Loved Silver Diner! Great soup and sandwich combo's, and overall great atmosphere. There's something fun and nostalgic about old school American diners. Silver Diner does have a modern twist though in that they have healthier vegan, and gluten-free options and they source their ingredients from local farms and purveyors, which is cool!

The food here is simply outstanding. The menu offers a wide range of dishes that cater to various tastes, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. I ordered the Lemon Chicken Picata, and it was a delightful blend of flavors, cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill.

I was staying in the area and decided to pop in for lunch. I sat on the bar which was super inviting for a solo eater. I was immediately greeted by someone from the staff that took my order right away. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. They not only have regular diner food but all types of fine dining dishes that you would find in a regular upscale restaurant. They also serve alcohol like beer and wine. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a diner like this one, I loved it. They have gluten free choices, vegetarian dishes etc. easy to find options for people with dietary restrictions and the food was delicious!!!! If you are ever in Tyson’s corner looking for a good and reasonably priced meal, this is the spot to visit.
