This is our second time in this restaurant and we liked it even more the second time.
One person in our party has Celiac and requires Gluten Free options. Their menu specifies what is Gluten Free for the most part, it turns out they printed a new version of their menu and forgot to mention what is gluten free on the back. So, there are even more options.
The Caldo Simar is amazing and flavorful. Very similar to Spain's consomé or sopa de Mariscos. The sea food was abundant and seemed fresh.
We also had the Taco Gober - shrimp taco and it was quite tasty.
We also like the ensalada de tomate y la ensalada de pepino, which they serve with some chips when you get there.
The service was excellent on both times. They want to make sure you are satisfied. Even the Margarita was excellent, very well prepared and quite strong.
The previous time we had the Ceviche, which was beautifully served, and very tasty, but certainly different than Peruvian Ceviche.
We also had the Paella the first time. But I would only give it 7/10. While it had excellent taste and the rice was very well cooked, the seafood itself didn't feel fresh enough in my humble opinion. Definitely when compared with a Paella in Spain, I would only give it 7/10 which is not bad at all.
Overall we enjoyed this restaurant and plan to try it again soon.
