Similan - Andaman Thai Danville

Just discovered this place last week and I’ve already been three times within a week. Fair prices and great portions. Love that they offer gluten free options and you can choose the spice level. I’ve had the pad Thai, drunken noodles, pad see ew, and pumpkin curry. All very good.

The food was excellent! There were gluten-free and vegetarian options. We came here for Mother's Day celebration, and there were 11 of us, including young children, a baby, so we were definitely a big party. There was one waiter who was less than pleasant with us. We had to ask for things (exta utensils and napkins... becuse kids 🤷🏽‍♀️) multiple times and never got them. There was also a point where he came over with a broom, yes a broom, and started to clean up under the baby.... babies make a mess he seemed very upset by this. I have never been in a restaurant where they would clean up while we were eating. Even after we apologized about the mess on the floor, he gave off attitude towards us for the remainder of our meal. If it wasn't for this, I would have given 5 stars across the board.
