I lived in San Antonio de Escazú for almost two years (until May 2024) tried many places and this was my go to Café. The food and desserts are healthy and good and one can find plenty of gluten free and vegan options. The menu shows which dishes are gluten free. They also have gluten free cakes, muffins and cookies.
The reason I went there almost every day is because they had absolutely great specialty coffee. Simple and Franco are among the best coffee places in San Jose. Simple has the best coffee and cheesecake in Escazú, in my opinion.
And the cheesecake is gluten free 😍
