Simply Donuts

Look, if im being totally honest, these dont taste anything like donuts, they are just gluten free cakes - light, fluffy and spongey, but they are nice, dont get me wrong. They taste good for a gluten free dessert (no offence, but GF usually sucks). However, the name of the store is misleading, especially if youre expecting that iconic deep-fried donut flavour, its pretty disappointing. But if you're looking for a good GF cake then this is the place to go. Although this is not for me, no doubt others love it.

My sibling and I were curious how good a gluten-free donut could be, but we got the Mocha one, and it was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten in Darwin. It also wasn't too sweet which was a bonus. I wish I took a picture. We also got two small ice Lattes which were pretty good. At first they forgot one of our iced Lattes but when we pointed it out they were very quick to accommodate us. They also nearly forgot to charge us for the donut and were apologetic for the mistake. It might have been a too many cooks in the kitchen scenario, but overall were very accommodating and nice. They even do decaf coffee, and lactose-free milk which helps for those with certain dietary requirements.
