Simply Thai Restaurant

We entered up a short flight of stairs at the entrance, into a classy room devoid of tacky Thai decorations so we had high expectations. And we were not disappointed. The service was prompt, attentive and informative, meals were served in a timely fashion, we did not wait for long at all. We had 2 dishes with a serve of Coconut Rice. First dish was the Tornado with mixed meat, cooked to tender perfection, with just enough heat to give the dish a good hum, and a very tasty sauce with crisp vegetables. Second dish was the Tamarind Fish Fillet and this was superb, also absolutely delicious, although we wanted a bit more fish. Our fussy Celiac son had a serve of Steamed Rice with a side of Thai Prawn Crackers, which our waiter explained to him were a little different to the Chinese variety so made sure if he was still keen to try them. They were happy to provide gluten-free soy sauce and our son ate every grain of rice in his bowl. Overall, a great experience (would make a lovely date night without the kids) the food was without fault and utterly delicious. No alcohol on the menu, only BYO. Will definitely come back again when we are next in Bunbury.
