Absolutely in heaven with this place. I have waited for a while for a coffee shop in the neighborhood and alas it has arrived. My job during the pandemic found me suddenly working from home which has dreadfully become permanent. On the cheerie side of things, I no longer have to leave an office building downtown to head out somewhere to get away for a while. I can simply walk a few blocks to this wonderful Sip and Brew. A needed welcome past overdue. A charming interior with a charming staff and I am glad that I can order something in the English language with them understanding me while I comprehend them whereas at a former certain defunct chain you would have to order Venti or Grande and I never knew what was what. Tirelessly with failed efforts I never received the correct size that I desired while winding up paying half the time for things I didn't want. My daughter loves this West Alexis spot as they feature gluten free pastries while I indulge in the coco balls, a chocolate delight with coconut inside. I must pay a compliment to the woman behind the counter, Shania (I think yet not sure, but thats what I thought I heard some guy with an unrecognizable accent call her) as her presentation of the drinks is to be rivaled. The only downside to all this is that they are closed on Sunday. It would be a perfect day to take my parents after church, but their staff must need a day off. Understandable, yet I bet there will be inquiries if they will eventually extend their hours as rumor has it that there will be additional items to the menu. Make sure to give them your cell number when you order so you can get points towards rewards.
