My partner and I decided to try this new restaurant for a special occasion. The online menu mentioned that they had many options for those with celiac disease. We were glad we had made a reservation because the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived. Surprisingly, our food arrived quickly and the portions were not large, but the flavors were delicious and the presentation was lovely. The raw Hapuku and Venison dishes stood out the most. The service was attentive and professional. They had a wide selection of wines, craft beers, and ciders. It was the busiest restaurant in town that night, and we hope they continue to do well even after the initial excitement wears off.

My partner decided that we should try this new restaurant for her birthday dinner. The online menu stated that they had plenty of options for a celiac. Fortunately we had booked a table as it was pretty full when we arrived. I expected it to take a while for our food to arrive but that was not the case. The menu consists of shared plates. Not large servings but subtle flavours and lovely presentation with the raw Hapuku and the Venison being standout dishes. My partner said of the Venison “all the flavours were clean and not ‘muddied’. Service was attentive, professional but unobtrusive. Very extensive wine list and good range of craft beer and cider. Busiest restaurant in town by far tonight. Hopefully that holds up for them once the novelty value wears off.
