Ski Shores Cafe

The new Ski Shores is a major improvement. The food is better. The service is better, and it still has the same great local vibe. My family all loved what they ordered. I ordered the Cobb salad which was so yummy even without adding a protein. I originally was going to order the fish tacos, but they didn’t have corn tortillas as an option (I’m gluten free). We boated up with friends which is the only way to visit IMO.

Cute! Excellent Service! Great Lunch! We pulled up in our boat with our dog (yes they're dog friendly too) and tied up to the dock, excellent access, we didn't even need our bumpers, the dock was fully equipped with up-cycled fire hose bumper and dock lines. As a Celiac I figured that was where my good experience would end and that I was taking my life in my hands at this quaint, adorable 1950's style lakeside restaurant. Nima and Kind bars in hand, I soldiered in figuring maybe I could eat a salad with some nuts from my purse. They proved me wrong! They had the best, freshest, Udi's Gluten Free Bun I've ever eaten, making a really great cheeseburger, they offered a side salad instead of fries. Used my Nima tester (trust but verify), my Nima was all smiles, they made me a true Gluten Free meal! Totally unexpected from a lakeside restaurant like this. We all felt powered up after lunch and we kept surfing and having fun. Wow! Thank you Ski Shores Cafe! I added the business to Find Me Gluten Free too.
