We were looking for a breakfast place in Stowe around noontime and most of the places were already done serving breakfast. We kind of stumbled upon The Skinny Pancake while on our drive to town and called to see if they had gluten free options and were so excited to find out they did for our daughter with celiac. Upon entering you can instantly feel the Vermont warmth and style with the exposed wood, fresh made coffee from Artisan brand and smell of fresh crepes. The service was friendly and the crepes were delicious! My daughter loved her gluten free Chocolate Hazelnut crepe and asked to come back again! The vegetable crepe was so tasty and flavorful. Highly recommend this place!

I wanted to eat everything on the menu, so deciding what to get took a while. The atmosphere was chill, interior was modern and homey. Food was amazing. Blueberry pie with gluten free crepe was blissful. Deja Vu was mouthwatering. Kids loved their crepes as well. Something for everyone. Place was empty at 9:45am on a Sunday, picked up a little by 10:30, but still plenty of tables.

My wife and I visited Skinny Pancake the morning we were leaving Vermont. While the food was decent and satisfying the way you order is kind of weird for a breakfast place. You are expected to order from your phone, there is no server that comes to the table. There is a center counter where you can get help if you need it though, and order food. We didn't like the setup; we felt as if this place would be better served with servers that come to your table and where they seat you. The seating is first come first serve and if you don't know that you might be standing around wondering what to do, lost. So the first thing you do is find a place to sit, THEN order. Again, the food was good, and they offer lots of options for gluten free and dairy free, but I wish it was more of a traditional breakfast place, but that is just my opinion. I still recommend Skinny Pancake and I would absolutely return.
