Skippers Dockside

We were in town in May, for a wedding and wanted to go to lunch close to our hotel. So, we decided to go to Skipper’s Dockside. Plus, it was a quick walk from our hotel. Wow, it was so much fun! What a great place to eat with a relaxed atmosphere! Or you can sit on the deck and watch boats go by in the marina. While you listen to live entertainment! All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to handle my celiac and soy allergy. I was able to speak to Chef Michael Ashley who made my meal. So, for lunch, my husband and I both got the Blackened Mahi sandwich. But they substituted the bread for quinoa and vegetables. The dish was delicious! Can I tell you we came back the next night? Yes, we had to try the Frozen Rum Runners. And I cannot forget the best chocolate martinis. We got a great meal, excellent service at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a place to chill and relax, go to Skipper’s! We will be back!

I really enjoyed this place. The view of the water and boats from the deck was great. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and I will definitely return. It's also worth noting that they have gluten-free food options.
