We got the nightrise and Sky Bistro package. Both my husband and I felt extremely let down with the value as first time visitors. During the day, the views were incredible, but Night Rise was quite disappointing and does not live up to the online promotion.
In terms of the restaurant, our server was great. The food took a long time, but we were aware it was busy. The food itself was pretty meh for the cost. It was all quite bland and the flavour profiles just didn't work. If I am going to be paying $400 for a night I better be wowed. My husband ended up swapping with me, so I could sort of enjoy half a meal. We ordered the beef tar tar and salad for appys and Arctic char and beef for dinner. The char was so bland. The rest was ok, but not great. Coffee and tea however were excellent. The brownie was good, but overly sweet. Our server did bring us a free dessert which was very kind, but it was also too rich and we didn't end up eating it.
Their website also notes that most of the entrees are gluten free, but in reality it's only gluten free if you don't get the sauce. Don't advertise something as GF if you're going to be taking away one of the main flavour components.
I wish we had just done the gondola during the day and gone somewhere else for dinner.
