Smallcakes of Fort Myers

My wife and I ordered a birthday cake from Smallcakes for our son's 40th. They advertised dairy and gluten-free cakes, and as some of our family are sensitive to these types of ingredients, we thought we'd give them a try. The cake was a theme base, and the imagination and artistry put into it was superb. It was also delicious. I would highly recommend this bakery for all your cake related needs.

Haven't tried the cupcake yet but not satisfied with the service. Wanted 2 gluten free cupcakes one with choc frosting and one with the hostess frosting and a best dad tag on each. She went in back and then she came out and helped the next customer. After that customer I snuck in and said I wanted two more cupcakes before they run out. Then she went in back and finished my gluten free cupcakes. She came out with the chocolate and a peanut butter cup! I told her my husband doesn't like peanut butter cups and she still put the cupcakes in the box. I just paid for it and walked out.(she had a line) Then I realized I didn't get the the DAD pick so I went back in and asked for it. SHE TOOK IT OUT OF ANOTHER CUPCAKE THAT WAS NOT GLUTEN FREE. First time there and not happy, hopefully the cupcake is better than the service.

I sent a message through Facebook and asked if they sold gluten free cupcakes. I was told they did and then they asked what flavor I wanted and when I needed some. Then they proceeded to make me the most delicious lemon cupcakes and some that were blueberry lemon. Both were absolutely delicious! 😋 I hadn't had a yummy lemon cupcake in years! I'll definitely be back when I visit Ft Myers again! Oh and they sell pupcakes which my puppy absolutely loved! 🙂
