Smashburger

I appreciate the taste and price point of this fast food. Normally, I don’t eat ‘fast food’: McDonald’s, KFC, Popeyes, Applebees, etc. It’s mostly frozen food which isn’t providing much nutritional value nor deliciousness. Yet here, if they are popping fries from the freezer to the frying oil, it sure doesn’t taste Iike it to me… and the wait is longer than the average fast food place, which I appreciate that. The chicken sandwich made my stomach hurt a bit but that probably was the bun. On another note, I noticed today that they offer gluten free buns. Much gratitude to the staff as well, I didn’t get everyone’s name. Yet energies like Dom really make the place feel relaxed and clean.

Ordered a gluten free bacon smash, the bread was falling apart (clearly not fresh) and untoasted. Last time I ordered it, it was amazing, I also got it at night. I'm assuming the nightshift workers might be better, but that's what I get for ordering at 10 AM. But why open at that time if the burger is going to be trash. Spend extra money on the gluten free bun just for it to be untoasted (just put cold bun). Absolute trash. The tater tots were crispy though, I will give whoever made that credit. But the burger was trash. Placed the order from UberEats, at 10. Super disappointed and it also caused my bf to get a stomach ache. ***Updated review**** I ordered it today for lunch and it was incredible! They used fresh gluten free bread, soft, not falling apart, the bacon was cooked pretty well, and the tator tots were crispy as always. Definitely improved since last time.
