Update December '23: ugh, I had to revisit this review because our last visit was unfortunately kind of subpar. My usual favorite (southern fried chicken) was not great - flat, barely fried and almost diner quality compared to how robust and fresh it used to be. They didn't have gluten free buns, so all the sandwiches were off the table for my sister with celiac. And across the board, the pulled meat was on the dry side. I'm not sure if the recipes are changing or if staff/management is doing things differently, but it just wasn't the same :(
Absolutely incredible. We've brought friends and family here over the years, including out-of-town guests, because the food is that delicious. We've eaten at a lot (read: A LOT) of barbecue restaurants across the US, and this one is hands down the best. Fresh food, great ambience, delicious drinks (and gluten-free friendly!)... you can't ask for more!
