Smoking Gringos

We had tacos from the food truck at Carriage Works. The beef tacos are 10/10! Get the sauce. The entire menu except for burritos is gluten free. The guacamole is also good. I lived in Mexico and these are about as authentic as you can get here!! Would def recommend.

Best birria tacos in the west BY FAR! If you’re visiting smoking gringos, do yourself a favour and order the smoking gringos set with the consommé and some grilled elote corn ribs on the side. Dripping with flavour, its worth the visit. NOTE: The consommé and tacos themselves are not spicy, so if you’re someone like me who’s big on heat, drizzle some of their chipotle & Caribbean habanero sauce into the soup and thank me later ;) love that they have a hot sauce caddy too with green habanero, chipotle, Carribean smoked & extra picante habanero. 🅿️It’s a short walk from Blacktown Station. If you’re driving, park at the Warrick Lane carpark. 🪑 There’s limited seating indoors & outdoors but with the big line, it’s competitive. Or enjoy some good sunset views eating fresh tacos in the park right beside the restaurant 🌮 🌱🍞Plenty of vegetarian & gluten free options!
