My favourite Chinese place in Brisbane. Best Chinese place to go if you've got celiac, with their sibling restaurant next door a close second. Their Hongshao Niurou Mein is AMAZING. The menu calls it "hearty and warming", and while that is 100% true, I call it "the best gluten-free noodles I've ever had at a restaurant" and that's before you get to the perfectly cooked beef cheek and the fried shallots on top. I could eat just that and be perfectly happy except the rest of the menu is just as good, and I love having multiple celiac-safe options at a Chinese restaurant! The portions are generous, and they're really excellent at catering to dietaries in general. Lovely chill atmosphere, great place to take friends or to grab a nice quiet dinner. One of my favourite places to take out of towners!
