Snobby's

A few weeks ago we booked out the indoor space at Snobbys for our engagement party. From the get go, Nick and his wonderful team were so helpful in helping us plan and co ordinate the evening, and make sure it went off without a hitch! It was a huge sucess, all our friends and family absolutely loved the place, and still cant stop raving about it. Huge thanks to the chef and their very creative team for ensuring that all members of the party were well catered for- we had a number of dairy free/gluten free/ soy free/ vegetarian/ nut free guests and the quality of all the food provided was second to none- nobody felt that they were missing out! This is one of our favourite local spots in Bristol and it was a joy to be able to share it with all our nearest and dearest-no doubt we'll be back very soon to enjoy a plate of pasta and a glass of Snobbys Rose!

Not suitable for coeliacs. I came here with my friend as we wanted to try somewhere new that could cater for her. The website states they accommodate coeliacs so we were excited to try it. Unfortunately, they do not provide gluten free pasta, the pizzas are a gluten free crust but not cooked in a suitable way for a coeliac and no desserts are gluten free. Ultimately she was left with a choice of 4 things on the whole menu, which considering it is a small plates sharing restaurant meant I had to order options she could not eat and we both left feeling hungry and disappointed. The food we did get was tasty but did not give us the sharing Friday night vibe we wanted. The person taking our order did not seem to understand the importance of allergies versus personal choice and seemed wholly unequipped to handle the situation. I suggest that the website gets updated to reflect they do not cater for coeliacs.
