SoLou Baton Rouge

I was in town and meeting up with some friends who live nearby; they suggested this place and I had no doubts after checking the menus. I have to say, I'm a big fan of the chicharrones thing going on right now. They were delicious with the queso. I ordered the shrimp and grits and oh lord was it rich. It was a pinnacle of comfort food and I would absolutely have it again. My friends all enjoyed their food as well, even the vegetarian who got the mac and cheese and my gluten free friend with a crawfish salad. I'll definitely be back.

As someone who needs gluten free. There was an amazing gluten menu and the staff (Lauren) and our server Heather were very accommodating and answered all of our questions! So for me a patron with an allergy felt very safe eating our wonderfully prepared meal.. Will definitely be eating here again many many times!!
