Social Manna

A great little cafe in Victoria Park. Staff were kind and friendly. Food and coffees arrived very quickly. They have gluten free options available which was great! Everything we ordered was delicious. Great place for breakfast or brunch with family and friends.

Hello. I am writing this on behalf of my mother today she went to social Manna with her 2 sister's and ordered the "bacon & egg roll" She did tell the people that were serving her "I would like the bacon & egg roll gluten free" It has been a couple of hours and she has been Glutened which has caused her to damage her stomach I am very disappointed that Social Manna could not provide my mother a gluten free meal that she requested as down the long road this could lead to further injuries. If you are a Celiac Yourself I would not recommend this restaurant AT ALL.

I really appreciate it when you go to a place where you are not taken for granted as a customer. When you book you are spoken to in a friendly, corteous manner. You are greeted nicely on arrival, smiled at and spoken to as though you matter. Where you are asked if you are happy with your meal. Where you are smiled at, thanked and farewelled. And you are served a scrumptious breakfast! I had the GF bacon and egg roll with homemade chutney and cheese. On giving me my food the server said "That is Gluten Free" without me having to ask to double check. Lovely ambience. We went on a Tuesday morning and it was not too busy. There was a smiley, friendly gentleman there, who seemed like the owner. If he wasn't the owner then he is an exceptional employee! Their Google reviews are deserved. We came on the basis of Google Reviews, and we will be back.
