Great place was celiac friendly, only 1 item on menu has gluten. But kept separate will be returning.

Soi38 Adelaide had been recommended by friends so we were looking forward to our first visit as dining out is a rare treat. Was good to see so many gluten free options available and the chive cakes and chicken dumplings as starters were delicious. Unfortunately my Pad Thai was not nice and had a strong lemon flavour that overpowered everything else. Most concerning was that I found two pebbles in my food which gave me quite a scare. The wait staff informed me this "happens from time to time" and that the pebbles are what one of their suppliers grow their herbs in. The couple at the next table, in overhearing our conversation also advised there were pebbles in their Pad Thai as well and that the overpowering citrus flavour spoilt the dish. The other main dish we had was chicken massam curry which while had a nice flavour, was overcooked and stringy. So disappointing main meals and there is no excuse for pebbles in food - surely good washing of produce would eliminate this problem. The food was expensive and the experience average at best so it was overall a disappointing dining experience.

Servers were incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drink options. Everything except the roti is gluten free and they state they can cater to other dietary requirements as well. The food was delicious and very filling.
