Although they were able to turn around pizzas in under 20 minutes, I was disappointed by the gluten free pizza quality.
We ordered a cheese pizza and a pizza with roasted eggplant, ricotta, and caramelized onions. The roasted eggplant was breaded, which I did not learn until I opened the box at home. Thankfully, my partner can eat gluten so it did not go to waste. The crust on both pizzas was strange. In the middle it was undercooked and on the edges it was burnt.
Additionally, I ended up having celiac issues after eating the pizza.
I really wish I had a better experience because it is so quick and close to me, but I do not imagine I will go back.
Sorrentos, please consider updating your menu to say 'breaded eggplant' instead of 'roasted eggplant' to make it more clear that it has gluten. Additionally, consider another supplier for your GF pizza crust. Against the Grain and Udis have good crusts.
