Sorrento's Ristorante

We came down to celebrate a friends birthday who is gluten free and after seeing they advertised gluten free pasta on the website it seemed like the perfect place. However, they didn’t have gluten free available and I’m sad to say that was the least offensive thing about the evening. Our server was fine but inattentive. The rosemary fries were the highlight of the meal. Our baked feta arrived with a dead fly right in the middle of the cheese. We never saw the waiter to ask for a replacement. We placed the fly on the side of the plate and the busboy didn’t acknowledge it. Entrees came out and the Tuscan stuffed chicken was inedible. Cold, watery and undercooked flavorless chicken. The duck was equally atrocious. Flavorless and rubbery. Wildly disappointing.

The food, views and service were wonderful. I have a gluten allergy, I was able to enjoy a feta appetizer with gluten-free flatbread. It was delicious! As was the salad and grilled chicken. The flatbread was worth the review. 😊
