Sotto il Santo

In the charming little square of Finalborgo there is this little place, small but with many outdoor seats, you choose the type of pasta and then the sauce, the prices vary... but the constant is that the dish is always abundant! There is the possibility of having gluten-free pasta for celiacs.

During our vacation in Finale Ligure we also had lunch at this restaurant and it was a great choice! We were in a group, with a celiac person, and we were all super satisfied. The fresh pasta with pesto was really delicious, and the gluten-free one was also excellent, cooked perfectly. A special thanks to the waiter, super attentive to gluten-free: he advised us everything precisely, without having to repeat it every time. A rarity! The homemade desserts were the icing on the cake: the panna cotta, the best I've ever eaten, and the gluten-free chocolate cake, very fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

Outdoor lunch in the square. Wide variety of pasta literally available "in all sauces". I had really good spaghetti with seafood, Nicoise salad and baby tomato pasta (a little high in salt but delicious). TOP homemade desserts made by the owner's mother (in particular the gluten-free chocolate cake) which deserves, if not the naming of the square, at least that of a street in Finalborgo. Service a little slow but friendly, dark interior, if you can have lunch in the square. Still recommended.
