South Beach Bar & Grille

Sadness. The new South Beach is nothing like the original one. If you like eating in a very bright very loud basketball court than this is the place. We sat at the bar and the place had maybe 30 people there and we could barely hear one another. The bar is right in the space as before with no intimacy or separation from the huge space. I was so sad when it burned and wanted to really like it and support it. When you can eat outdoors perhaps it will be awesome away from the inside no atmosphere main gymnasium. The fries were good with the burger my husband had. I had the fried oyster appetizer and two glasses of wine and the bill was 71$. Not really dinner. The service was slow. Had to ask for water. I’ve been going here with my young grand kids for the last 25 years. But I won’t be going again. Disappointed. There was no gluten free beer. No gluten free pasta.

Fantastic location to watch the sunset and drink one of the fabulous cocktails, but I was a little disappointed with the service and quality of the food for the price. Gluten free options available for fellow coeliacs.
