I enjoyed the gluten free bakery items available at the register. The lattes were amazing, along with the breakfast bagels. I enjoy a latte where the flavors mix well, and aren’t overpowered by the espresso. The layout of the inside forces crowding and causes the line to go awkwardly onto the small porch and down the steps. My breakfast was wonderful, however, I questioned the hygiene (whether a hair net is required in the kitchen) at lunch time when long dark hair was found in our chicken salad sandwich. The staff was very kind and understanding, allowing us to choose a different item on the menu instead of the chicken salad sandwich.

I always enjoy eating at Southport Coffee! I have a gluten allergy and they are very accommodating! My favorite is the Sweet Daddy's Chicken Salad sandwich on GF bread or the Yummy-O on GF bread! Great atmosphere in downtown Southport!
