Southport Surf Life Saving Club

Club was busy but disappointed as not much choice for gluten free. Female staff was friendly but male staff was a bit rude when cleaning our table he took away our full plate of uneaten vegetable nachos without asking as club policy no take away. We could have shared eating them if asked are we finish with our meals.

Wow! I came here for dinner just expecting another surf club meal but got one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! It was perfectly cooked, with the chips and salad also being super tasty. Not sure what the salad dressing was but I couldn’t get enough. I can’t have gluten or dairy and the menu was super easy to navigate as it told me everything I needed to know without having to ask. We also walked in on the trivia night without even knowing so had a lovely evening of trivia and laughter as well as an amazing meal. I don’t live up that end of the coast, this was a one off, but I’ll definitely make the drive to go back there again. Yum!!
