Spicy Affair Indian Cuisine

Visited here recently – what a great experience. The atmosphere is amazing: a remodeled turn-of-the-century bank; beautifully decorated. We were served by Andrew who went above and beyond for us all night. He was attentive to everything we needed, and I never saw him stop moving. If he wasn’t actively serving anyone’s table, he was wiping down, organizing, or doing anything that needed to be done. Andrew was friendly, personable, and had great suggestions (not just for food to eat, but also local things to do/see in town). All of this would have brought us back to Spicy Affair, and then we ate the food … Delicious! The portion sizes were large enough that we got three meals out of one (and the food was just as good reheated!!). The tastes and spices were some of the best Indian food I have found in South Jersey. I have a gluten intolerance and Andrew was very helpful in showing me what was available for me to eat. (They do have shared fryers, so if cross-contamination is a problem for you, be careful.) This was a great experience, and we will certainly be back again!

This was a great place to eat. The waitress was very knowledgeable of Indian cuisine, which was a big help- especially since I was not very familiar. I am also gluten and dairy free and there are so many options! They will substitute any meals made with milk for coconut milk if you ask. The food was excellent, I would like to go again!
