Spoke Wine Bar

Went a few weeks ago after careful planning considering a gluten allergy for a date night. It's always hard to find nice places that will accommodate it with great options so we were pumped for Spoke. The drinks were good to start, the Atmosphere was great, with service being a bit slow. However -- the same waitress that took our order was not the one that brought our first plate and unfortunately brought out *non*gluten free chips when stating they were gluten free. We were plenty of delicious bites in is when the original waitress came by and noticed. The food was delicious, but we were fighting a reaction for the remainder of the meal. The staff were accommodating with the mistake. A mistake I had let sour the evening, albeit a big slip up. I'd love to go back and enjoy the great food again

We had a wonderful experience here -- all the food was very good. I have a gluten allergy and found the staff/menu to be very accommodating. Our favs were the Chicken of the Woods, eggplant dip, tuna, and porkchop dishes. The cocktails were also delish!

I can't rave enough about Spoke, nor could I possibly count the number of times I've enjoyed their incredible food, drinks, and hospitality. This is our special occasion place *and* our neighborhood place (I admit it's appropriately a little expensive, so it's slightly more on the special occasion side), and it's the place where we know we're going to regularly be blown away. We've brought friends from out of town, and each time they've marveled at the experience. On occasion there might be a dish that we might not love as much as the others, but I appreciate that the chefs are always pushing boundaries and being creative. Also, for such a thoughtful and yet small menu, there are great options for vegetarians, gluten-free folks, and vegans. (I brought a friend from London who can't eat gluten and she was in seventh heaven.) I'm almost reluctant to tell you how much I love it because I want to be able to get in, but I also want them to always be around!
